29/1/2010Would you abseil from the roof of Crosshouse Hospital for a really good cause?
Local daredevils are being sought for an adventurous abseil at Crosshouse Hospital.
The abseil event is being run by the Anthony Nolan Trust to fund their drive to recruit more potential donors to their bone marrow register.
The event takes place 120 feet up on the hospital roof on Sunday, May 16.
There are over 16,000 children and adults with leukaemia and related disease whose only hope is to find a suitable bone marrow donor. Tissue typing each new donor costs £125.
