Scarecrow Competition a big success
The Competition was a great success for the first year, we had quite a few entries, sadly the weather took its toll on some of the exhibits, but I would like to say a big thankyou to everyone who put in so much time and effort with their scarecrows, also to members of the CCC for help and support with the Judging.
My special thanks to Robb Bros of Crosshouse who have provided the Trophy and given great support to the event
It was very difficult for the Judges to decide on a Winner, the standard was high, but they opted for Thorntoun Estate Nursing Home's entry of 'Tea Break',with Crosshouse Primary School a very close second.
Congratulations to everyoneÂ
We look forward to another successful event earlier in 2012.
Thanks everyone for all you efforts
