At the Community Council meeting last Monday evening there was a presentation on renewable energy. It centred on what could be done in our community to reduce our CO2 level.

The person giving the talk also stated that within our Community there were people who are experiencing fuel poverty at present. As a community we can do something to reduce out CO2 level and I would like to think you will support a community energy reduction project. While at the same time offering assistance to the people who are in the fuel poverty trap.

If you would like to hear more about this subject please let me know and I will be happy to share with you on what we can be done to reduce our CO2 level. To those people who would like to hear more about eradicating fuel poverty please let me know as I now know that something can be done in that regard. We need to address the issue of Global Warming and we in Crosshouse can do our part.

The Community Council feel that this is a worthwhile venture which could be of great benefit to the whole community.
