Fun for all the family at Crosshouse Fun Day

There will be fun for all the family at Crosshouse Fun Day on Saturday 18th June – with the festivities kicking off with a parade round the village at 12noon.

The carnival queen and her attendants will be travelling behind the pipe band, followed by an open top bus – which everyone is welcome to get on board, although children must be accompanied by an adult.

There will be a float from the primary school, and other floats will be available for children who come in fancy dress. There will also be two Clydesdale Horses pulling a cart in the parade, and there will be an appearance from Kimarnock’s Nutz mascot.

The fun day opens with the crowning of the queen at 1pm, followed by fancy dress judging. There will be plenty of stalls, a display of various types of owls, and a tug-of-war challenge.
