Event to help diabetes sufferers coming to Crosshouse

  • Crosshouse Hospital will host the diabetes event on Saturday 11th September

People in Crosshouse who suffer from diabetes, or know someone who may affected by the disease, are invited to attend a special information event in the Alexander Fleming Education Centre at Crosshouse Hospital from 9.30am until 2.45pm on Saturday 11th September.

The event is hosted by NHS Ayrshire & Arran and Ayrshire Diabetes UK's voluntary group, and visitors will have the opportunity to speak to professionals and will be able to learn more about diabetes from lectures and workshops.

Diane Smith, Manager of the Managed Clinical Network for Diabetes, said: "We hope people will be able to come along and find out more about the support that is available from both NHS Ayrshire & Arran and Diabetes UK."
