- Andrew Law was born in Crosshouse and he was an artist painter. He was a student at the same time as George Rene McIntosh. He painted various pictures and was asked by Kilmarnock Burgh to paint each Provost over a 10 year period. Those paintings are kept by East Ayrshire Council at the Dick Institute Kilmarnock.
- I wasn't born in Crosshouse I was born in Irvine. I did't know there was as much history in Crosshouse village interesting to know.
- My granpa was born in Crosshouse to a farm worker called Barbour. He was born in 1895 and was adopted to a family from Windyha's called Paterson. I am looking for anyone with information about Barbours from Crosshouse. Email davemarz @tiscali.co.uk
